Due to the storm (snow) that was coming in that night - the sky and clouds were ‘ominous’ and the flying conditions were somewhat iffy. I used the time to get some ’strong gusty cross-wind landing’ (and takeoff) practice.
I was doing some solo ‘pattern work’ one sunny day on runway 24. I put my Canon camera, set to video, on top of the instrument panel. Enjoy!
Coming back from a cross country flight in the wintertime - just after a heavy snowfall. The air was cold and dense yet ’smooth’. Landmarks (and airport(s)!) were very hard to ‘pick-out’ yet I love winter flying!

“As an experiment” - I put the digital camera (set to video) on a tripod - in the ’space’ behind the two seats. Winds were light and the air was ’smooth’. There were several (Dowling College) Pipers waiting to take-off, so I extended my downwind and slowed the plane up so as to ‘make room’.
