This is the opening sequence to “Space Knight Tekkaman” (1975), one in a series of ’70’s “superhero” shows created by Tatsunoko Productions (which include “Neo-Human Casshern”, “Hurricane Polymar” and most famously “Science Ninja Team Gatchaman”, better known to U.S audiences as “Battle of the Planets” & “G-Force”)
Apparently, the original Tekkaman was indeed brought over to the U.S around 1984, though only 13 of its’ 26 episodes were adapted and the dub itself seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth, with the rights reverting back to Tatsunoko ages ago. Only it & Gatchaman have been brought over to the U.S to date. Enjoy!!!
