Canal + empezó a retransmitir la NBA en la temporada 1995/96 y hasta el All-Star los comentaristas habituales eran Andrés Montes y Santi Segurola. Si no me equivoco, debido a su miedo a los aviones Segurola no voló a San Antonio y en su lugar acudió el joven Antoni Daimiel. Fue la primera vez que pudimos ver juntos a la mejor pareja de comentaristas de España.
